What a voice Kiley Lotz has ! And what a smile ! I let you judge from the Run for Cover's Interview from 2015 (see below). But her brightness clearly hint in the quality of the band's songs.
Shame got out in this same year. It is the first long play from the Scranton band. The performance on this LP is all the more impressive that the band did only one work before, an EP called Scout. Guitar, bass and drum, associated with this clear voice are the good combo for 'cannot leave insensible' rock tracks. The change of rhythm between and even inside the songs are especially successful. As well, a great work has been done on the lyrics, with some moving passages, Feel or Silly Heart are the perfect examples.
Little bonus with a cover of the Death Cab for Cuties by Petal and Jake Ewald, member of Modern Baseball (two other cool bands btw) :
Keep listening folks,
Bye
