Observations at the Careil lake

During my studies in Rennes, I was not as diligent in ornithology as today. I still managed to discover some magnificent places in Ille-et-Vilaine (35). One of them is the Etang de Careil, discovered during an outing organized by Bretagne Vivante and guided by a volunteer ornithologist who has long followed the pond.

The morning's list ended with a few Snipe, a Black-necked Grebe, Pochard and Tufted Ducks and other ducks. Before the days of the notebook and now the smartphone with the terribly practical and time-saving Naturalist application , I wrote down my observations on a notepad in the warmth of my computer. I fell back on that of this morning in Careil!

In addition to this, you need to know more about it.

In short, very few photos but a good, cool but sunny February morning spent with friends in the shelter of the observatory!
